OS AI2's have a waterproof outer fabric and an inner lining layer of soft microfleece or suedecloth. The front of this "shell" features rise snaps that easily adjust to the size your baby needs. Since the shell of the fabric is super trim, there is no bulky fabric in the way on smaller settings.

The OS AI2 has a unique leg gusset. This gusset is designed to fully contain the inserts and prevent leaky messes. It does not gape around baby's legs, yet it remains soft and gentle.

The insert system for the OS AI2 is what makes this diaper work so well for so many different sizes. There is a small insert, to be used on the smallest and medium settings, and a large insert, to be used on the largest setting. There is also a snap-in doubler that can be used at any time for extra absorbency if needed. All three inserts can be snapped inside the shell at one time for super absorbency if needed. Inserts are composed of 5 absorbent layers such as french terry, cotton fleece, and so on. The top layer is either microfleece or soft cotton velour. The inserts are contoured, which prevents bulk and keeps your baby comfortable. Each insert is sewn into two layers, so they dry quickly.
