Little Cheekies

The Little Cheekies fitted diapers are designed to fit newborns size 6 lbs and up.  Depending on the fabrics and the types of closures, these diapers may fit up to 15 lbs. 

The diapers in this picture are made with knit outers and velour inners.

The Little Cheekies Can be made from a variety of fabrics!  Popular outer fabric choices are knits, velours, and sherpa.  For hidden layers popular choices are Organic Cotton Fleece, Hemp Fleece, Bamboo Fleece, and Sherpa.  Inner lining layers are usually velour or microfleece, but some people choose sherpa.

 Closures may be snaps or Touchtape, side snapping or front snapping.  

The diapers in this picture are both made from Sherpa.

On the side snapping and front snapping diapers, the front snaps down to keep the diaper off of the umbilical cord while it is healing.  I have found for the few days that the umbilical stump is on, if you are using a diaper with Touchtape, you can fold down the top of the diaper and close the wings over it.   I have sewn carefully to make sure the snaps on the wings of side-snapping diapers are covered--no snaps against your baby's skin!  Each diaper includes a snap-in soaker that can be removed if your baby does not need it.  It also reduces drying time.  The snap-in soakers can be used as doublers when your baby moves up to the Growing Cheekies sized diapers!  

This is a side-snapping diaper made from Sherpa.

Feel free to request an inner lining of high-quality, custom milled microfleece or soft cotton velour on your custom diapers. Yuuummmmyy!

The Little Cheekies require a cover.  Most covers will fit nicely over these diapers.  These are perfect for the newborn stage, and your little one can graduate straight from the Little Cheekies up to the One-Size diapers or possibly to the medium-short Growing Cheekies, thereby skipping smalls.
