2-layer covers

2-layer covers have one layer of PUL and an additional fabric.  In this way, the elastic is hidden inside the cover.  

In this photo, a layer of minkee is on the outside of the covers.  The covers are sewn in such a way that the soft minkee curls around the leg elastic.  Click to see larger picture.

These covers have PUL outers and suedecloth on the inners.  They can be used as swim diapers!

1-layer covers

1-layer covers are a very trim option!  These covers are bound with Fold-Over-Elastic (FOE).  They are easy to rinse out or just hang to dry, and can be used multiple times before washing.  1-layer covers are superb at containing blow-outs!
